About Us

​Chávez Elementary School is a kindergarten through fifth grade school with an enrollment of 550 students.

Chávez Elementary opened in 2012 as a Professional Development School.

Chávez partners with universities in the area to prepare teacher candidates for the profession. It has 8 observation classrooms and university professors often come to do observations and help university students make a connection between theory and teaching practice.
